Yes, I’m proud to be a native Texan, with my early years in Lubbock while my dad was an aircraft mechanic in the United States Air Force. After he retired (from the Air Force), we moved to the tiny town of Noonday in East Texas where I grew up. I attended college and then moved to the big city – Dallas – to begin my career and have lived in the area ever since (25 years in Carrollton and 12 in Addison).
After 15 years with TU Electric, Microsoft, and ClubCorp, in 2003, I started TeksInc which grew into a multimillion dollar IT company helping clients with their business challenges in systems, processes and people. After selling the company in 2019, I earned additional Business Coaching certifications from Gravitas Impact Premium Coaches, Metronome United, and Harvard Business School and became a Business Coach. I’m also a partner and CEO of Centerpoint Connect Software, own and help operate In The Pattern Flight School and Aviation Services in Denton and have a real estate investment business.
My wife, LaNita, a Registered Nurse at Medical City, and I have been married 35 years and are the parents of two young adults – Sarah and Brandon. Our home life now centers around our twin grandkids, Theo and Oli, Sadie, our 9 year old rescue dog and our community and church activities. We are long time members of Christ United Methodist Church where I served as chair of the administrative board. I’ve also had chairmanship and leadership roles with the Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce and Dallas Executive Association. In Addison, I served on the Bond Issue and Census Committees and was appointed to the Board of Zoning Adjustment. I’m a graduate of both the 2021 Addison Citizens Academy and Leadership Metrocrest class of XX.
It has been an honor and a privilege to serve you and our Town for the past four years. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue that service and am running for a third term on the Town Council.
When I first decided to run in 2022, I made a commitment to serve the full three terms if elected. I believe continuity and consistency matter—especially when it comes to long-term strategy, seeing important initiatives through to completion, and securing the best possible future for Addison.
